Barbie récompense les héroïnesBarbie celebrates “Sheroes”
Barbie a élu six héroïnes (sheroes – contractions de She (Elle) et Heroes (Héroïnes) – de la vie actuelle, des femmes qui inspirent les petites américaines en repoussant les propres limites. Des exemples de carrière et de personnalités.
Des poupées OOAK ont été crées à leur effigie pour célébrer l’occasion.

Trisha Yearwood – Elle a plusieurs cordes à son arc : artiste Country renommée, auteur de best-seller, animatrice d’une chaine de télé et chef d’entreprise.
Sydney “Mayhem” Keiser – jeune créatrice de mode ayant été publiée dans Vogue. Elle a collaboré avec des marques de prêt-à-porter comme J.Crew.
Emmy Rossum – actrice, nommée au Golden Globe et porte-parole de Best Friends Animal Society, organisation nationale de lutte contre l’euthanisie des animaux dans les refuges.
Ava DuVernay – réalisatrice, nommée à l’Oscar pour son film “Selma”, foundatrice du Festival African-American Film Festival Releasing Movement, qui offre l’opportinuté aux minorités sous-représentées dans le monde du cinéma.
Kristin Chenoweth – actrice, nommée et récompensée par des Emmy Award et Tony Award, réprésentante de la scène à Broadway et fondatrice du Kristin Chenoweth Art & Education Fund volunteering qui vient en aide aux jeunes talents.
Eva Chen – plus jeune éditrice en chef du magazine de mode “Lucky”.

Trisha Yearwood – A woman with many super powers, succeeding as an award-winning Country artist, best-selling author, Food Network host and entrepreneur.
Sydney “Mayhem” Keiser – Five year-old fashion designer with work appearing in Vogue and signed on with major national fashion brand, J.Crew, for the collection ‘Little Mayhem for J.Crew’ launching in June.
Emmy Rossum – Golden Globe® nominated actress and spokesperson for Best Friends Animal Society, the only national animal welfare organization dedicated exclusively to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters and a leader in the no-kill movement.
Ava DuVernay – Director of the Academy Award Best Picture nominee, SELMA, and founder of African-American Film Festival Releasing Movement, which provides opportunities and resources to underrepresented filmmakers.
Kristin Chenoweth – An inspiration on Broadway and beyond, the Emmy® and Tony Award® nominee and winner also founded the Kristin Chenoweth Art & Education Fund volunteering with young talent in the arts.
Eva Chen – Breaking boundaries by bringing inspiration to print as the youngest appointed female Editor-in-Chief of a national fashion magazine, Lucky.
Each Shero will auction off their doll to benefit a charity of her choice.
